Twilight

he is high on my Edward to be list.

we all should know who my number 1 is though, even though he wont get the part -_-

I still think that he is perfect.

Anyway, what scenes are you guys excited to see played out? (Let's just ignore the fact if you guys think that they will be left out of the movie...)

I'd love to see the vampire-baseball scene in Chapter 17. :flower:

I did buy that utter crap of a book because of LAINEY (dam her!). To her credit, she did warn in her review that the writing was terrible but I got through the Da Vinci Code, I though I could handle it.
MISTAKE!
The cheesiness is nauseating. How many f***ing time do we need to be reminded that Edwards has an 'angel face'?!?! I actually cheered when she used the word 'seraphic' to describe him because I couldn't take it anymore.
That and the fact that the plot is thinner that the paper it's printed on, and the characters are dull as hell. I could not believe how underexploited the Cullens were: a whole family of Vampires with their own tragic history, and all we get is some a baseball game?

It was like reading the broke man version of Interview With the Vampire as written by a 14-years-old hormonal girl.

Please, bin Meyer and go for the real deal: Anne Rice, all the way...

^ Well...I've read some Anne Rice and despite the obvious similarity of Vampires, I don't see how they compare. Some people like things, other people don't. I won't say that this is all that well written, because it isn't. Like the ways she describes things, 'Bella went to the fridge, Bella got some food, Bella put the food in the microwave....'

However, I truly think this book was enchanting, I really enjoyed Twilight (for the most part) and I think this book deserves some credit.

Really this book isnt all about Vampires, it plays on something else entirely which is clever because its not your typical sci-fi/ vampire novel.

^sorry I ment to post this on the book thread, I got mixed up.
On subject: I don't think a movie is the right format for the adaptation. I think it should be a TV series, not a feature.
And Edward-'Angel Face'-Cullen is bound to be a disappointment. Everybody's idea of perfection is different, whoever they chose, people are going to b*tch about.

^ I couldnt agree more. Probably end up casting some generic jock-type i.e. Colton Haynes. I sort of wish the book would stay as it was because Edward is uncompareable to anyone else, I think.

Gaspard:yuk:...:innocent:

I know!!! I'm so glad that this talk of Gaspard hasn't caused me to picture him when I read, that would be annoying. I find Gaspard attractive but Edward?- NO

In case anyone is interested, sides for the meadow scene (between Bella and Edward) have been leaked.

This was really interesting...I hated the bit where Rene asked her about Edward and where Bella called him a peeping-tom or whatever.

And- the meadow scene shows how the bits before won't be the same what with him only telling her there about hunting animals & her scent.

The writing isn't good, but the idea sells. I thought the experience of reading Twilight was magical.
