Twilight

oh well. in any case, he's better than colton haynes.

Yes, yes, that's true^_^

I'm a bit worried now; the whole Kristen Stewart thing was a rumour at first and now that it's true, I have a feeling the Colton Haynes thing is too

kay, let me start by saying i loved that first video.
i guess now that i seen clips of him, i would consider liking him as edward..

hes not 100% perfect, but i would definatley accept him. ^_^

What about the other characters ? hahahahaha...
i keep forgetting about them because of Edwards dazzeling :brows::rofl:

i kind of cant wait to see Rosalie :innocent:

^ Yes, of course! Rosalie has to be stunning, I hope they find someone representative of that and not some blonde dime-a dozen girl.

And Alice! One of my favourites, (aside from Edward, of course)- I'm so eager now!
You know, they may even edit his whole family & change the storyline so there may be no Alice/Rosalie/Jasper/Emmett- I dread to think that.

And Dr Cullen and Esme- these casting people have a lot of pressure riding on them. I almost feel like they have to pick all new or barely known people otherwise it won't be believable.

I have a feeling all the other Cullens may just bw 'attractive' and nowhere near 'impossibly beautiful'.

Rosalie? Hmmm, I can sort of see Olivia Wilde (as a blonde) doing that.

Alice Cullen? Rachel Leigh Cook? Fits the gorgeous, petite, tiny, energetic sort of person. :flower:

Oh God, I just saw this and now... I'm crying over again. Screw Kristen for Bella. I WANT EMILY AND GASPARD! :judge:

^ That was a sweet video; but also like another story entirely, I just could never see them two as Edward and Bella, the idea is so odd to me.

Gaspard is lovely though, just not Edward!

Awww for me that video is perfect. :crush:

It's great to have different opinions though! ^_^

^I don't think Gaspard and Emily match.

Gaspard and Kristen would be better.

I'm think Kristen's a great choice for bella. Ellen Paige would've also worked.

Anyone notice all the actors we've, or anyone on the web, optioned for Gaspard are all dark-haired? Idk how G and T would look with bronze hair.

Wow maybe i'm in the minority but I don't understand how people can see Ellen Page as Bella.

Justin Hartley would be great for Carlisle! Maybe Jennifer Morrison for Esme? Nora Zehetner or Rachel Leigh Cook are perfect for Alice IMO. I can't do any of the other Cullens. Emmett, Jasper and Edward are so difficult.

eternitygoddess, I photoshopped a picture of Gaspard to see how he would look as Edward lol.

oOoOo. Nora's good. Never thought of her. She's a tad too dark though.

I'm gonna nix Justin Hartley.

Rosalie should be very aristocratic, snobby European looking. A sharper...*forgets name of girl who played Fleur DelaCour*

^^ Camilla Belle is too tall. Alice is suppose to be petite.

So here are the details for the film.....

Twilight
Producers: Mark Morgan and Greg Mooradian
Director: Catherine Hardwicke
Cast: To Be Determined
Screenplay: Mark Lord and Melissa Rosenberg

Based on the best-selling book series by Stephenie Meyer.

BELLA SWAN has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother remarried and sent Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn't expect much of anything to change. But things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful EDWARD CULLEN. For Edward is nothing like any boy she's ever met. He's nothing like anyone she's ever met, period. He's intelligent and witty, and he seems to see straight into her soul. In no time at all, they are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance — unorthodox because Edward really isn't like the other boys. He can run faster than a mountain lion. He can stop a moving car with his bare hands. Oh, and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. That's right — VAMPIRE. But he doesn't have fangs — that's just in the movies. And he doesn't drink human blood, though Edward and his family are unique among vampires in that lifestyle choice.

To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for — a soul mate.

But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy.

Somehow or other, they will have to manage their unmanageable love. But what will they do when LAURENT and JAMES, the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for Bella?

Based on the #1 New York Times Bestselling series by Stephenie Meyer, TWILIGHT is a cultural phenomenon, with a fanatic fanbase that eagerly awaits this movie. Critically acclaimed director Catherine Hardwicke brings to life this modern, visual, and visceral Romeo and Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair — between vampire and mortal.

Principal photography starts First Quarter 2008. U.S. release via Summit Entertainment.

i wanna see some videos like that with Kristen in it..
i actually havent seen her act :ninja:

Well already thats a bit different, seeing as how its Bellas choice to move to Forks and she's not sent away, but I guess the finer details won't translate.

I'm feeling nervous about the film, just something about how it said how Bella didnt fit into the plastic-y girls makes me think of films like Mean Girls and other teeny predictable direction.

Also, I don't think Rachel Leigh Cook would be a good Alice; I think Alice would have the gamine & pixie like traits of Audrey but still look etheal and beautiful...Rachel is cute, but thats all,

I agree with everything you said

If you want to see Kristen act, definitely watch 'In The Land of Women'. Great film and Kristen is fantastic in it. :flower:
