I feel like James needs to look more ... manlier and less boy, if that makes any sense. High cheekbones, dark hair, muscular body. That sounds like Edward's description but whatever, I can't explain it. James always striked me as older and well, MANLY. Cam looks like a typical pretty boy and I just don't see James as someone who is ordinary.
Vampires are known to be fantastically gorgeous, dark, and evi. Whoever plays James should fit that appearance description. Cam, fantastically gorgeous? Pass. In fact, I had the same problem when it came to casting Edward. I was terrified they would cast a fugly bum. However, they proved me wrong cos Robert is an excellent choice. So yeah. Overall, I really, really hope Cam is not confirmed for Twilight!
But yeah, I disagree with Cam as well. I thought James was paler, with black hair, the more defined cheekbones, and a permanent snarl. He could still pull it off though, I suppose..
That is definately Mike as for someone playing James. Stephenie Meyer had pick someone like John Stamos and Cam is nothing like that.
IDK i'm starting to have more and more faith in this movie. Movie Blogs are talking about how huge this franchise could be and are comparing it to Harry Potter and LOTR in terms of future ticket sales. They would need to add more to the plot in order to make a better movie. i'm glad it seems they are focusing just on Twilight and not making a weird mix of twilight and new moon as previously rumored.
I'm officially renting this movie, hell if I'm paying to see Nikki Reed as Rosalie. The Cullen's were supposed to be incredibly beautiful but so far no one in the cast stands out even in the least bit. I'm wondering if the people who did the casting even read the book because it sure doesn't seem that way.
obviously you didnt finish reading. compares it to harry potter IN TERMS OF FUTURE TICKET SALES. If twilight can do just as well we can expect to see a movie for each of the books stephenie writes
