The cover art for Breaking Dawn has been released, and here's someone's take on it:
The cover art for Breaking Dawn is simple black background containing a black-and-white marble chess board. In the foreground there is a centered white queen, with red pawn behind and to the left. The title is centered at the top of the cover, with Meyer's name at the bottom. The significance of the cover-art is not about chess, or how the game is played. The pawn in the background: Bella before she was changed. Small, insignificant, and as she was described to be warm and blushed. Thats where the red comes in. The white queen: Bella after she was changed. Strong, powerful, cold, white and beautiful. The chess board is used as a metaphor to show Bella's change and her new life - from a Pawn to a Queen! Bella will be colder and stronger etc and will not be as warm or weak in her new life.

I never thought of it that way, I wonder what the real meaning behind it is.. I seen the cover for it a few days ago, and I do like it.

I don't agree with that meaning, mostly because I don't think stephanie will have the guts to kill Bella. I think the red piece is Edward because he's 'evil' and the white piece is Jacob who is at the front and her 'future' (which is crap because I want Bella to be with Edward, loathe Jacob)

I really hope that Bella doesn't end up with Jacob in the end.. I would really be disappointed.. I want Edward and Bella to be together.. I dont want a Romeo and Juliet ending either..

I was a bit disappointed by the scene they showed at the MTV Awards. I just get this feeling the movie is gonna disappoint because I have such high expectations for it..

Btw, did anyone watch the interview with Robert and Kristen? I thought there was an awkward moment when the interviewer asked if they were dating!

Man they need to do something about Robbie P's hair. It looks like he came out of a tornado in all the Twilight clips.

that was such a stupid question to ask (about the dating). Questions regarding the actual movie would've been appreciated. Disappointing clip but Kristens acting is better than the trailer. Robert's hair in the clip...well looks better at the awards

I like Robert's hair in the movie more than in real-life pics. And ya, I was thinking how great Kristen's acting was too! You can really tell she was freaked out by Edward's vampire hungry side.

lick1987 -Ya I know what you mean. I think if we really want to enjoy the movie, we should lower our expectations and think, this is a movie (as opposed to the movie.)
