Ugg, I want more news!!!

Has anyone read The Host yet??? I actually LOVED it, I didn't think I would. Hopefully they make it into a movie as well :)
 
^I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet but I just bought it at Barnes and Noble like a week ago. 30% off!
 
^ No, both books take different directions. :ermm: I understand that with the success, they may be similar in that they both have a huge fanbase, but the characters are not the same. They have different storylines as well.
 
Harry Potter pawns Twilight.

Ridiculous the two are even being compared. It's prob. b/c they need to find something to replace HP now that it's gone.

i didnt like nikki casted as rosalie at the very beginning but now im used to her. i think she will do a good job in the movie
 
^ To be honest, I still don't think the casting people did a god job appearance wise. Still- Rosalie isn't even in the first book much so I don't see why they couldnt try to pick someone truer to the description. Because she's almost the opposite
 
^ yea i relazied that when i re-read twilight that laurent is the exact opposite in the movie. and james is supposed to have short hair so i dont understand why they gave him the ponytail. hes the reason why jacob's hair is all down cause they didnt want two cast members to have ponytails.
and i pictured jessica, eric, and tyler all differently too
 
i wonder what the cover means and what it has to do with the book. did anyone read the 1st chapter of breaking dawn?? ahh i cant wait till the book comes out!!! i hope she becomes a vampire (FINALLY)

i really dont think stephenie will make bella go with jacob. it will ruin the whole love story which is basically why she is a best seller author. it just doesnt make sense to me that she would write twilight and new moon all based on edward and bellas relationship and let the near end of eclipse ruin it because of jacob. ughh im trying to convince myself that she is gonna end up with edward lol cause if she doesnt there will be alot of pissed off fans
 
i read the first chapter and wasn't too impressed.. then again i read it online so im hoping that it was just someone with the first half tha was actually allowed to be shown online, and then they made up the rest... if that makes sense.
 
^ the part online was only one page of the chapter. there alot more than bella at the gas station
 
Heres the thing about Nikki Reed. She was in both Thirteen and Lords of Dogtown, which were both directed by Catherine Hardwicke. So I think they've got a sort of Woody Allen/Scarlett Johansson thing going on.
 
I am so psyched for this movie. I am a new fan of the books, but am already in love. Edward Cullen is hot (obviously) and Robert Pattinson and his big hair do wonders for my libido :rofl:
