I never understood why so many fans were absolutely bent on Gaspard playing Edward. Robert was kind of a surprise but I think he looks Edward-like in these pictures.

Because Gaspard has the chiseled face of a fallen angel; and he's the only male I can think of that has an unearthly beauty.

Well I agree I never saw Gaspard as Edward (although he is rather attractive)...and Robert is too but just in a different way.

I think Mathias Lauridsen would be pretty perfect to play him (of course, he probably can't act)

i seen the cutest old man yesterday.. he was a little taller then me (so he was short) and he had gray hair and a gray beard... and for an old man.. great taste in style and for some reason (i know he has NOTHING in common appearence wise) I thought of how cute he would be as Carlisle

You know for my Personal Project for the IB course, I'm thinking of doing a short production at our school of Twilight.

It's just an idea my friend and I came up with. However... I might just make an haute couture dress.

Robert as Edward...! That's what I'd been hoping for.
I think he's pretty much perfect for the role - he's both gorgeous and has that kind of dangerous vibe to him that is characteristic of Edward.
