Two Tone Hair

Yeah well the lighting for Cam's was from a big award show when she had camera flashes on her at all times but the 2nd picture I have to say looks better.

i am really in love with two tone hair colours, actually in past i usually had hair coloured like that. then i changed in dark brown that i still own.
lately i have been dreaming about two tone hair colour and lighted shades.

I love this type of hair color. I'm trying to do it the 'old fashioned' way by not recoloring my roots but I'm being really impatient. I've only made it about two months. Anyone have any pictures of this look on shorter, shoulder length ish hair? (Besides of Alexa)

But if you are already lightening your base colour and you get lighter ends....and you neglect to keep up with the base colour, it´ll look quite weird, because you´ll end up with roots...TWICE!The exact opposite of this easygoing and natural look.

I don´t know if I´m understandable on this.
I think this look is best when you start from your natural color as a base. It could be done with an artificial base colour and some lighter ends, but this would be tricky and EXTREMELY high maintenance.

Yes, this is my issue...

I have natrually dark brown hair and lighten it to blonde.... and if I were to do two-tone, I'd want the base to still be the blonde I have - so lightening the ends further could work but it might be way too damaging (my hair is already a damaged mess).

I did achieve this look by accident a long time ago though. I went from getting to foils, to doing full head of scalp bleach, then back to foils again.... so the ends were fully blonde, while the top was just highlighted (50% coverage you get with foils), and yeah...

Not a fan of Drew´s hair, looks too fake and unkempt.
On the other hand Jessica Biel´s hair is....otherwordly. Perfect. Awesome. This is how two tone hair should be.
