The cover is Nice, refined and cool. Bit more of a safe pick than previous covers but in current times you can maybe understand why. I really like the pictures posted here, I think she looks amazing. Very sexy - Especially that double page. Look forward to seeing the eds.

I agree, especially in comparison to the magazine's US counterpart!

Personally, I don't have a great deal of interest in Scarlett Johansson, but this is a great cover shot of her. Not excellent, mind you; the angle of the shot and the pose is more conventional than not, and this particular style has been done on Scarlett more than once in the past, but then again hey, why ditch a working concept?

I, for one, really like the cover, particularly since celebrity covers are generally a bit unimpressive simply because a lot of celebs don't really master modeling like the professionals do, and yet this is a nice and not altogether dull cover. The inside photos look great, I really hope I'll be able to grab this for my collection (unlike that Vodianova cover of HBUK I missed in stores here -headbang-).

In my opinion that is not a good cover for Scarlett. The hair and make-up is awful, she reminds me of La Roux

I really dislike Scarlett in general, but I kind of like the retro feel of the cover. I won't be buying this issue though.

I really dislike Scarlett in general, but I kind of like the retro feel of the cover.

I do like the 1960s feel of things, the retro-glam of it, and for a January issue, it seems a decent enough cover, especially given that their December issue would be a hard act to follow.

I forgot to post last night when I'd discovered it, but as of yesterday you could actually find this issue on newstands; but only in a £5.99 bundle deal in WHSmiths. You get Good Housekeeping, some other cookery magazine I think, and January's Harper's.. which I thought was odd. It's not hit newstands on its own yet, and subscriber's haven't had their copies yet either..
