I like the way the cover feature tried to tackle the question, "what is the point of Alexa Chung?" and couldn't really come up with an answer of any substance.
The editorials are nice but it's yet another month of English country house edits. Hell at this point I would find even a London based editorial from them edgy.
As much as I despise this woman, I can't deny that the image of her on the boat isn't gorgeous. It just looks so English and the colours are beautiful, reminds me very much of Monet. I also love the composition which is wonderful and interesting.

I actually admire the country aesthetic of British Harper's. It's a welcoming diversion from Vogue & ID's urban mood, and Elle's clinical vibe.
'Britannia waives the rules' is my favourite story so far. Love the odd pairing of winter styling and the setting. It looks like the last few days before autumn, and which corresponds with our weather right now. 'I capture the castle' looks too much like something out of American Harper's, but I can appreciate the styling. Pretty detailed.
