I do love me some Laetitia Casta, and the cover has fetched the amount of sexiness and fashion I need. Joan's is rather supplement-ish. Although the edit inside seems fabulous. Bazaar's on full-form, I look forward to this.
Are those photos taken from your subscriber's copy, honeycombchild? Mine hasn't arrived.
Joan's is okay, she looks smiley and happy. Laetitia's is like a vision of pure goddess perfection. I've seen her play this role before but I don't care, she kills it each and every time.
I find it funny how vampish and sexy they have managed to make that Jil Sander dress ever look. Also Sara's ed preview looks super gorgeous, cant wait to see more
In Laetitia's shot, I can see they wanted the cleavage to take centre stage but there's something to be said for letting your cover text breathe, especially a serif font. There's no point squashing it to the sides, you start to lose the elegance and poise of the typeface. A little bit of elongation isn't going to kill the cover - whatever the size of the wording, people are still going to be able to see that chest in full effect.
Given that this sort of of cover is so close to my personal preferences for beauty styling, it almost feels strange to see it happen for real, I suddenly realise how boring my tastes are.
But to have Joan on a cover as well, I'm spoilt for choice.
