I got excited for Eva Green, but the pose is just terrible
Hopefully the editorials will save the magazine.
Both Lily's have editorials AND an interview? Why would Donaldson have one.. I'd understand Cole cause of her movie.
They're starting the year off with Eva Green? Nothing against her but just not a fan. Couldn't they have used the 3 British models featured inside the magazine as the covergirls instead? Must be the financial aspect of the Dior ads.
I was so excited when I saw the title, Eva Green!
But tha actual cover is just disappointing! They didn't show Eva's potential and dark glamour at all!
Hope the eds will be good.
While I don't personally enjoy the Vogue tendency of kicking off every single year with a spring-y floral cover/editorial that screams something cheesy like 'starting over' or whatever, I actually happen to like this.. Eva's face just wins me over, she's breathtaking when they leave her face shine and remove all the tons of makeup that she likes to wear on her own, I actually buy the theme because her look alone is killing all the corny scenery surrounding her... in a wonderful way.
a darker font would've made a good difference though. neon orange just shouldn't exist or be used on anything really.
the Lara Stone 18-page spread sounds exciting, I can't wait to see.
and Agyness Dean.. seriously.. what's remotely punk about her?
The cover doesn't interest me & I don't particularly even care who's on it...I'm anxious to see what's inside especially Lara's edit. As for featuring S/S fashions in December...the big mags always do this just as they start featuring fall in May or June.
