US Elle April 2015 : Shailene Woodley by Michael Thompson

I'm always wondering what happened to US Elle. It used to be so great and their covers, despite the loads of text, always had energy and it usually draws me in. The contents before were notice and praise worthy, but now, it's like they've stopped trying. I used to religiously buy their issues, but after 2009, it all went downhill. To be quite honest, US Bazaar slays US Elle both in content and in covers despite the latter being generic as well. At least US Bazaar has an identity to it, even though it's tacky and borderline distasteful. Right now I don't even know US Elle. It's like they're all over the place. We all see that they're trying out something new, but the thing is, they immensely fail despite having big names and a huge budget. I guess at this point, all blame goes to the EIC.
