Robyn's worked her *** off for years, producing truly brilliant electro music. She's one of the most underated artists around. It's about time she got a bit of recognition for it. She fully deserves to be in Elle's Women In Music selection.

I know people are offended about Willow Smith getting a cover, but truthfully I feel the msot "offended" about Jennifer Lopez being on the cover. I know she's on American Idol now, but she's just so... who cares? There's nothing appealing about her at all to me.

People, this is ELLE. This magazine has never exactly had the highest standards. It's an extremely commercial magazine, so obviously they'll suck up to anyone with money and fame, then they'll throw in a couple of new faces to make it look "intelligent". Are people seriously surprised that Elle would pick these faces?

That being said, I was kinda surprised to see Willow Smith because the cover said "women" and she's not even a teenager yet. I thought even Elle had better standards than this, but obviously not.

Truthfully, most of the faces they have picked like Robyn, Adele, and even Nicki Minaj aren't the first musicians that would pop into your head for a commercial fashion magazine doing an issue about music. Yes, Adele and Robyn are supposed to be the "new faces" that I referred to, and the rest are commercial as f**k. Nicki Minaj not commercial? lol yeah right.
Beyonce is overexposed and so limited with her voice.
Jennifer Hudson is awfully generic. She's a Grade B Beyonce.
Rihanna is useless at all corners of music.
Jennifer Lopez is overrated, there's nothing unique about her.

I've never really listened to Adele, but from what I've read she's just another "good" voice". I like Gwen Stefani and Robyn, they stand out to me.

Why didn't they get Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey or Jessie J? Those girls are more talented than the majority of the cover chicks to me. I dunno...

I find it hilarious that you'd rather have Leona Lewis in there. Possibly the dullest creature known to all of man kind. If she had an opinion about something I think I'd die of shock. In fact, I think she'd die of shock of she found anything even half interesting to say.

But whatever, it's Elle. Jennifer Lopez is big at the moment, she has Idol behind her so it makes sense she's there. I'm not particularly 'bothered' by any of the women to be fair. None of them would put me off buying a magazine, despite not being their biggest fans.
