Hello Sexy! Kate Upton on Becoming This Generation's Bombshell

despite the boring white background it is surprisingly good cover for US ELLE, simple and elegant

Is that much black text really necessary? The styling and the pose are both pretty tacky. She honestly looks so much better when they don't try to make her look like some sultry sexbomb.

woooowww!! If anyone says this is bad I ll ask them to go for an eye exam

Gorgeous, not even the sea of text can take away from it. Think would have looked even better without the necklace, which looks too damn heavy!

^ Completely agree, I can tell the necklace has text but it's super distracting not being able to comprehend it. I think just the bracelets would be a nicer touch to the outfit. Can't lie Kate looks fab in red!

Kate looks awesome in that red Lanvin, but I agree that the Lanvin necklaces are too much. Would have been better with just the David Yurman jewelry. There is also a text overload, but that seems to have become the norm these days for all newsstand glossies.

Kate looks gorgeous here and the first two shots of the preview are stunning!

Something about the contrast of the white backdrop against Kate is unappealing on the eyes, both on the cover and inside shot. The jewelry also blows, the chain link jewelry was unnecessary. The shot on the bed, however, is perfection  It's good, but it could have been executed better.

On being treated like a “dumb blonde”: “People deal with models like they are children. They think they can pull one over on you. It’s actually funny. I’m always like, I’m about to pull something on you, and you’re so focused on thinking I’m dumb you’re not even going to know.”
On the fallout after her Sports Illustrated cover: “After my first Sports Illustrated cover, I felt terrible about myself for a solid month. Every single guy I met was either married or about to be married, and I felt like I was their bachelor present or something. I’m not a toy, I’m a human. I’m not here to be used. I am a grown woman, and you need to figure your **** out.”
On dating: “I really have never had a serious relationship in the industry. I’m just having fun. Obviously I have a very busy schedule at this time in my life, and I don’t put relationships as a priority.”

hopefully these arent the most interesting bits in the interview.

She's having a good year! I guess her Vogue cover sold well enough for the trend to continue.

Seems like Kate Upton can't make a bad cover. I was anticipating for this cover and I knew it would turn out good. She's such a lady-b*tch, and that just what I want from a cover girl.

I don't think it's tacky at all. I find it really beautiful and understated and welcoming. Aside from the necklace, one thing I would have liked more is if she were to tilt her head up just a little bit. Then I won't feel like she's being strangled by the necklace.

i'm all for models on the september issues. just saw bits of her interview online and she seems like a really solid, smart girl. can't wait to see the editorial content.

Shes one lucky model.
VOGUE cover and now this. She's super super lucky gal.
She looks stunning!

(and why are they using the Vogue 'trendex' font..)
