US Glamour February 2017 : The Cast of Girls by Emma Summerton

Considering there is literally nothing glamorous about Lena Dunham, this cover is both ridiculous and exhausting. And then put her in that outfit? No thank you.

She really is so over the hill. She belongs in 2016 and should stay there. I think people are tired of her and her instance on shoving herself down our throats and then telling us we're all sexist and misogynist if we don't find her attractive or talented. Her show and her antics have done nothing but normalize and empower slobby, dumpy, irresponsible and unintelligent behavior.

i find Lena insufferable, frequently contradictory and it all feels very passé. The whole cover just looks so ill-styled and silly, like these magazines aren't even trying anymore. I love unique beauty of all shapes and sizes, but at least dress it up and make it aspirational. In the wake of Lena's recent comments on abortion, was she really the right choice? Couldn't they have swapped some things around so the general public can calm down before she's on another cover?

What on earth is this cover. I have no complaints about the cover stars. It is the execution that I am disappointed of. What gives?

LOVE this cover, love the fact they didn't airbrush Lena, this is just fantastic! Don't always buy Glamour but i will get this issue as a sign of support!

i agree with Miss Dalloway!

not a fan of the show or lena dunham...
but i think the styling is on point...
not easy to style four people in one shot!
(except the shoes are too stupid for smart girls!!!)
all the ladies look nice...
and very REAL~~!!!
*might be the best pic of lena dunham i've ever seen...
she actually looks pretty!!

and the concept is fantastic!

Hashtag free the cellulite.
It's all about that thigh.
And I love the all Marc Jacobs styling.

This is some of the worst styling I've ever seen and what is Jemima Kirke doing with that milk carton? Practicing telekinesis??

Perhaps I'm just biased because I like the show and thought the most recent season was the best one yet by a wide margin, but I LOVE this cover. The styling is SO out there, so unabashedly kitsch for a fairly major, on-every-newsstand fashion magazine. Unexpected, silly, and and they didn't photoshop Lena into oblivion.

Why does everything look like Nylon here? I do like the male celebs and their stylists feature. But that concept should've gone to GQ though. Would've been far more impactful for men to read about women dressing their icons.
