Very glam, Sarah looks wonderful, but typical Terry shot, nothing new from him.

I mean the text is just pure insanity, but i don't mind the image of her, she looks great, and it isn't another torso shot which i welcome even if this overall reads very "Cosmo".

Bazaar covers often flat when Richardson is behind the lens. Someone like Daniel Jackson could have produced something far superior.

Having said that, Bazaar's content does seem to be getting stronger and stronger.

I really never care for his work at all, there are so many far superior photographers to use. Sarah comes out of it looking good though, I like the headpiece shot. That 'Biggest Issue Ever' banner is irritating.

Carine Roitfeld's Singular Beauties shot by Karl Lagerfeld for Harper's Bazaar.

I feel I have seen a million of times the picture for the cover.

I like the 2nd shot. The 3rd shot is nice too, again that Gucci dress?

Love the Karl Lagerfeld shots.

That cover = Insane. Text. Overload. Terry's photography is flat as usual and I agree with Miss Dalloway that this does read very "Cosmo".

I can't get over how monotonous HB cover text is. It's just a different combination of the same words every month. Not even worth reading.

oh this is fantastic! she looks so glamorous! pitty that Czech Bazaar wont reprint this cover because she is on the current cover... I am sure the Czech reprint would be nicer because of the better text using

You are so right.
"10 best pieces to buy now"
"10 key buys for fall"
"Best pieces for fall"
"10 looks for now"
"10 best pieces from spring"
"10 pieces you need for spring"

"Bag and Boot Special"
"Shoe and Bag Special"
"Sexy shoes"
"The shoe and bag to buy"
"The shoe and bag to buy" (its literally the same title in February and March)

This is only in 2013 guys!

After all these years, I still love SJP, and seeing her is a great opportunity, especially when she looks good. But I've been wondering how relevant is she nowadays? Is she promoting a movie, a fragrance or anything like this (even though some promotions are not cover-worthy to me. They just don't feel valid, but that's another discussion...)?

I hope the subscribers cover features that beautiful picture of Sarah in the feathered hat. Terry's work for Bazaar can be hit or miss, but i think that image captures everything alluring about Ms. Parker - the idiosyncratic yet glamourous fashion, the cheerful laugh and general effervescence of her personality. Truly a wonderful shot.

This cover isn't in my style... but it's not bad I guess it's one of better Sarah Jessica Parker covers! And i really like Lagerfeld story! :)

Sarah Jessica Parker's always a relevant subject in the fashion community, so I don't have a problem seeing her cover Harper's Bazaar's September issue. It's just a shame she photographs so harshly these days. I doubt Terry Richardson's aesthetics help matters, though. Why do her eyes look terrible in every single shot? She looks as if she's looking upwards in all of them, which is very distracting. The profile shot is the best, I agree with Luxx on that one - just because her eyes are closed.

I like Sarah and the second photo with the feathers.

But somehow, I am not a big fan of Terry. All of his pictures looks the same. The models stay in front of a white curtain, and shoot ! I dont see anything special in his works.

I like Karls story. Its a beautiful work by him and Carine.
