US Harper's Bazaar September 2016 : Kim Kardashian & Kanye West by Karl Lagerfeld

Good to see Natasha and Lara together. I just wish it was a better ed

kim alone would have made a better cover and would have been a huge coup...
the second shot at least has clothing in it
it's huge miss not to have FASHION on the cover of your biggest issue of the year, but maybe glenda and co are banking on the bang factor of the two of them...

This ultimately is boring. Kanye looks like he is sucking the life out of Kim and the editorial isn't really fashion.

Also, why is this September cover out so early?

Okay look, it is what it is at this point with the Kardashian/Jenner's. I can deal with that. But Kanye? Everything that comes out of this mans mouth is straight up garbage. No sir..

The cover doesn't bother or anything. This magazine is so stale and unimaginative one can only thank god whenever they step outside of their comfort "Gorgeous at every age" zone. Nothing incredible, but the composition is definitely a breath of fresh air-even if the subjects are over-exposed.

Anything remotely interesting in the main ed is owed to the modelling skills of Lara and Natasha, because styling-wise (and photography-wise) there is not much to write home about.

I am guessing there is gonna be a camel coats story and some color-blocking mess also?

This people have absolutely zero chemistry. And the ed is probably the worst of the year.

K&K stinks so bad. People are wrong if they think that they're very fashionable, like old Hollywood stars. No glamour here. I see cheap softporn. I'm sorry for Carine (I love her so bad), but this is no. Hope she changes her mind.

Kim/Kayne x Harpers x Karl x Carine already sounds like a dreadful combination and this proves it perfectly. The cover is weird and the editorial is horrendous. All those selfie pictures make me cringe so much. And what's the point of having Natasha, Lara and Lindsey there? It feels like two completely different editorials.

Carine has become embarrassingly dull and predictable since leaving Vogue Paris, this would have been a better cover and editorial of her lame CR Book (or whatever the hell her magazine is called).

my hope is that other editions will split the editorial into a K&K celebrity editorial AND a models editorial with maybe more images... wishful thinking

This proves I'm completely right in hating this magazine.
If it's not Terry Richardson's creepiness then it's KK & KW ickiness.
Selfie obsessions?
The most interesting people are not that interested in themselves.

why are they on the cover of a fashion mag, again?? stupid

- Because they're fashionable :innocent:
- They capture the zeitgeist
- They sell
- He's a talented musician, she's a businesswoman who could sell Cheerios or golf balls should she want to.

As I always find myself reiterating, they're here to stay.

Lol ten years ago I'm sure someone said that Paris Hilton was here to stay.

The main problem I have with your comment is labeling Kim K. a "business woman". What people don't fathom is that there's a big difference between licensing your name and starting a real business. The same people who are now paying Kim a licensing fee for her name are the same ones who paid Paris ten years ago and ten years from now they'll be paying the next reality star.

This is a whole lot different then someone like Gwyneth Paltrow starting her Goop business from scratch and owning it outright.

This might be too much macroeconomics for you though. So yeah... They're cool and they have a lot of followers!
