US Vogue December 2008 : Jennifer Aniston by Craig McDean

Shine A Light is gooood, especially the ethnic girls are rocking it (+ Sasha). I am so excited for Ms Oluchi's return and all the eds sound exciting (minus Raquel, seriously again !)

Even Testino's sounds possibly better than his usual bland glamour in Sao Paulo formula.

After Kirsty Hume, now Oluchi, hope Anna will give us the returns of Kiara, Maggie, Caroline Riberio, Eugenia.....even Jaunel :woot:

I don't want to see the return of any supers. Give the new girls a chance to becme the new supers.

i like the Demarchelir shoot...stellar cast....more please!

I like Shine a Light especially because of Sasha (even though her cheeks are different). About Caroline's face I think it's ridiculous. She can look so much better than this. Her expression on this ed is kinda stupid.
I saw the video of Catherine's ed and I loved it! Can't wait to see it!

Caroline's shot is bad, which is stupid since it's the first shot of the ed, all other girls look great, esp. Sasha and Coco!

I like Shine a Light a lot! To me, the most beautiful girls are Arlenis, Oluchi and Lakshmi! Now, I can't wait for Coco and also Raquel, even if it's Sims, Raquel is always perfect for the role!

I'm anxious to see the eds, I'll receive next days the issue and I expect a lot the reports too.

xx

So I have some free time today. I suppose I will scan Catherine's first and report back with other interesting things in the issue.

Review

Love of a Lifetime
Ph. Annie Liebovitz
Fashion Editor: Grace Coddington
Models: Coco Rocha (Juliet) , Roberto Bolle (Romeo) & John Lithgow (Friar Lawrence)

A couture retelling of Romeo and Juliet. Love it. True to the story and similar to Liebovitz's other dramatic editorials.

Costal Blend
Ph. Mario Testino
Fashion Editor: Tonne Goodman
Model: Catherine McNeil & Jon Hamm :buzz:  :buzz:

So very very 1950s Ava Gardner and the Frank Sinatra. Love it.

pretty interested into these both ...
i hate Leibovitz but isn't that Roberto the hottie dancer ?!

and though the return to the oh so perfect US 1950s boom boom is soo annoying ... i don't know why but VogueUS always manage to amaze me with the 50s styling ...

I know every December they do an editorial inspired by a film. Can somebody recap what ones have been done in what issue?
