Kate Hudson is cute, but boring. David Sims is so blah. He's so antiseptic. Stella Tenant... cannot imagine what people see in her. For me, this has to be one of worst issues ever.

US Vogue has become the Saturday Night Live. Too much of an industry to pull the plug.

I think this issue is pretty interesting...what can be wrong with having so much balenciaga
wow,kate looks a lot more like her mom,especially on that picture in red coat-dress.
she really reminds m of goldie with her hair like that and wearing a bucket head and all those bell-shaped outfits...

Thanks for the scans It looks like a pretty solid issue to me, although if this is all there is I'm not going to get it. The Stella ed is really cool...but she's not a fav...I'm kinda wondering what Snejana could have done there instead. Oh well.

Kate works on some of the pix (although not the orange outfit)...she does seem to put her soul into being a good photographic model, so kudos to her for that, most celebs just plain suck and don't even try, but she actually shows enough personality to warrant her spread.

I don't like the cover at all. What is July these days for the Vogue issues? The battle of the ugliest Balenciaga cover? I thought it should be clear that the sterile photography used for American Vogue covers would not convey the proper allure to the dreamy, and excentric, Balenciaga outfits. The F/W collection needed no help in that way - being perfectly in tune with the current mood, but this collection with it's references to the more daring phases of 60s fashion would need a selling point to the general public at least...

I guess Balenciaga really is pushing the complete "look" of the collection. It looks better on Kate than Lohan.

david sims' work here isn't as exciting as his eds in vogue paris, but they would never be...

in this one, it looks like she's playing dress up...

IMO, her style isn't interesting enough to warrant 3 Vogue stories in 3 years. That could be ok for a style icon, but hardly for Kate Hudson. So with this story, it makes sense to me that it is more of a modeling shoot.

I mean 3 covers for Kate Hudson?It shows how easy it s to score a Vogue cover lately.In the past you were lucky you got it once and no matter how famous or big of a fashion icon you were.
I think Sarah Jessica Parker mentioned that in one Vogue interview.
She said that she thought you only get one Vogue cover in your life and thats it.I guess not anymore!

also, its not like he was only person to use a riding helmet in f/w 06 collection. whatever, i just do not like balenciaga.

Yes i remember that too and didnt Oprah loose like a lot weight because of the cover?
Anyway its not such a privilleged if Kate can score 3 covers and dont get me started about Keira!
But i dont think Vogue is that bad otherwise yes the covers are awful but i like the articles and i love Balenciaga!
