US Vogue June/July 2021 : Kaia Gerber by Colin Dodgson

Got my print copy yesterday. It's 148 pages but it feels thicket, I think because they increased paper weight. Anyone interested in seeing the contents? It's a snooze fest anyway.

At 148 pages, I'd consider that thick enough for Vogue USA's June/July issue. Sure, please upload some photos here. Thanks in advance, Flamingjune.

I enjoyed Hailey’s edit more than Bella and Kaia. She always looks great in spring/summer edits

Bella, kaia and Hailey in one issue? Anna is playing 2018 catch up and it’s so embarrassing

also take back my weight thrown behind bella because that edit is...not it

Hugo Comte in US Vogue! Hope she will give him a cover soon

Bella is still very much in demand, and Hailey, who Anna gave a cover to a couple of years ago, probably has more major covers than anyone else so far in 2021, so she's seemingly in demand as well. I'd agree with you if this was Anna's first time featuring any of them, but it's not so I don't get that particular critique in regards to these two. She's not late to feature them, relative to the rest of the industry.

As for Kaia, I'm pretty sure she was not originally intended to be the cover subject and the decision to turn her ed into a cover feature was likely made because Bella has a cover coming in a few months (and her look in the ed isn't cover-friendly) and Hailey was just on US HB, US Elle, Vogue Paris, etc. etc. etc. so it would seem late-to-the-party of US Vogue to give her a cover, even though the shot of her in the checkered Versace top would have made a much better cover than Kaia's imo.

I think in general a predominantly Insta model led issue just feels outdated IMO regardless of them as individuals but probably because I just can’t take hailey seriously at all

Not a single good shot in this entire issue lol, not even one. Everything looks so bad and cheap and yeah that coverstory could probably be one of the very worst in US Vogue history: soooooo disjointed.

I can’t believe I’m saying that, but Hailey’s first shot in this pink dress would have been a much better cover.
