W Magazine Volume #3 2020 : Megan Thee Stallion by Colin Dodgson & Dua Lipa by Tim Walker

Great to see W Magazine still on the market, still putting out covers - and these are great. Out the two, I prefer Megan Thee Stallion's but despite my disliking for all things Tim Walker, I'm even a fan of Dua Lipa's cover (and in particular that shot of Dua sporting the yellow gloves). Nice!

I used to love W mag...
these covers sort of remind me of the vibe they had like 10 yrs ago or so when I used to buy them at Borders (rip).. every month lol

Oh dear...Who needs this? Very mundane editorials, with 0 creativity and imagination. I think a magazine needs to offer more than this these days in order to survive.

Hopefully with the new ownership things will change? Karlie Kloss just bought the magazine along with a bunch of other millionaires that will try to save it. Future Media must have taken a big hit here but they couldn't wait to get rid of this magazine.

Either way, the Dodgson cover is the best so far. Love the retro vibe, but they should've played more to that with retro hair and makeup styling, and poses. The timing of her cover is perfect because WAP is still trending.
Dua Lipa bores me senseless, and it's mainly because she's getting all these fashion covers yet none of it looks groundbreaking.



Yikes, such a motley crew of investors, lol. This is the second business deal for Kaia, unveiled in one week. Can't stand her as a model but mama Cindy taught her well. Modelling is not forever.
Get a new EIC and a new direction!

Sara Moonves orchestrated and was very much involved in the process of making this acquisition happen. After all, she is Sara Moonves. Her father, Les Moonves, was only the CEO of CBS for 15 years. She knows all the people in the right places.
Not sure there will be a new EIC anytime soon.
But who knows....
It's a lot of people investing in this. I am happy to know that they are trying to keep it alive, hopefully with better editorials.
