lol....where`s the cover star`s editorial? I haven`t seen the whole entire thing thing up yet! Is it really that bad?

I don't think it's been scanned bigger yet but the 2nd and 3rd pictures here...are the entire editorial :|

It so great to see some new models in US Vogue - Agyness is awesome!

I finally had some time to read this issue cover to cover and again it's a disappointment. I find lately the only thing I get out of Vogue is one or two great editorials. This issue does not even have that!. I love Agyness but her photoshoot is pretty boring. Daria's, another huge favourite of mine, was much better but I would rather a write-up about her than the soccer player but I guess that's a matter of opinion. Natalia's was OK but I thought her editorial in the last September issue was stunning compared to this one. And the cover is absolulety awful and each time I look at it - it gets worse. I'm trying to understand what the team at Vogue were trying to capture or convey but I don't get. They could have done so much more with Jennifer.
I'm so glad for Harper's Bazaar this month!!!! It's so much more exciting that this issue. And so far W is outshining Vogue as well. Why do I keep buying this magazine!

Jennifer WON,the Best Supporting Actress Oscar that is:flower:!!!

If Ms Wintour's intention with this month's cover was to create an uproar, then she has succeded. A plus sized woman of color (Ms Hudson: her 15 minutes of fame?) on the cover, and the same old flat, pastey-faced, blonde, andrygenous little school girls inside in the editorials (Daria & Natalia are OK - but that's it - that's the top of the heap?). Is there a disconnect here? Am I missing something? Anyhow, where has the eye-popping glamour - and fantastically dreamy, show-stopping, over the top, fairy-tale beauty gone? I've subscribed to VOGUE for years, but this zine has been completely boring for years (the Wintour years?). It's running on empty - the only thing keeping it going at this point is its, justifiablly, legendary past - and the ads, which, in most cases, are better than the editorials. For the old time VOGUE you have to go to VOGUE ITALIA these days. Please bring back the models and put them on the cover. Spare me any more covers of Angelina or Nicole or Renee (with a rabbit creeping out of her bum) or Drew (Drew - indeed - since when did she beome the sexiest, most glamerous woman on the planet?)! Pleeezz, stop, before I vomit!

I was thinking the exact same thing as capt bob this morning - sure, it was an inspired move to put Jennifer on the cover, in terms of the Oscar coverage, but that seems to be as far as 'inspiration' goes. For me, nearly every issue of US Vogue falls flat, when compared to what other magazines are doing at the moment.

Ugh, I just got this issue and went through it in about 7 minutes. Raquel and Hilary look good and the new Balenciaga ads are cool but that's about it.

The best feature was À Tout de Suit, the women-in-suits chronology.

Hudson's Vogue cover is the worst i've seen
in a while and her spread upsets me considering
that Renee Zellweger(sp) had some amazing pictures
in hers last month. I was expecting so much more from
vogue, they did her no justice

and I have to mention again....
The cover itself is a joke.

You think Renees spread was amazing?
OMG when i saw the first picture of her leaning against the tree with gigantic ROOTS it made my skin crawl, seriously;you are doing a VOGUE photoshoot, get your freaking roots done. :ninja: It was so awful to see that in a magazine of Vogues caliber but i guess its not the same these days.:innocent:

A great article on Ivank Trump in this month's Vogue, March 2007.
Scanned by me.:flower:

Got this last week, and owing to the size of the issue, I felt that I got my money's worth from this issue. I still quite like the cover because its a completely unexpected choice - an exuberant, award-winning, good-looking larger-sized woman of colour looking out from the front of a March issue. It brightens up my day.
