US Vogue March 2010 : Tina Fey by Mario Testino

i'll scan the rest of The Wanderes and Meisel's edit if no one does it by tomorrow, guys. I just wanted to scan some of the editorials we hadn't seen previews of yet...

I don't like the Trentini ed...I appreciate Anna bringing Terry (back) into Vogue but his recent work here is a little stale. However I do like the Testino edit, although Isabeli looks crazy :ninja:...there's a very 90s aesthetic in the photography and model performance (Sasha looks excellent).

I liked the 90's feel but I think they could have picked a better cast... models with better smiles.. I mean come on.. Sasha & Isabeli? They looked possessed.

The shot of Caroline wearing Prada is beautiful. But the rest is pretty bland.
Always enjoy Terry's work for US Vogue though. Thanks again, Mchunu!

Great editorial Millitary issue by Mario Testino very fresh, spontaneous, yes very 90' but have a good vibration thanks for scaning
No like the Trenti edit to she look strange

Testino's ed is generic garabage he always does for US Vogue, thats the first thing i will rip out when my issue arrives, but boy does Daria and Sims deliver instead. That editorial is one of the best in the last few years that American Vogue has produced, everything works, the model, the setting, the styling.

Munchu thanks a lot for all your scans. :flower:

I love Testino's editorial! All girls look amazing, but I'm not sure about bangs on Isabeli. Thanks for the scans Mchunu! :flower: And I always love a Trentini/Terry editorial!

What is Raquel's ed like?

^i think Surrealseven described it the best way..very geometric Klein type of editorial. She's wearing a lot of muted color and the styling has a lot of emphasis on shape; she's also wearing a black wig. It's probably my least favorite editorial because of the set, which looks so fake and uninspired; I'm so tired of Klein.

That sounds like the last image in the set that Clo got from the ebay seller, a few pages back.

Indeed, I see it now. Just when I thought US Vogue had finally gotten rid of that terrible black wig they used to put on Raquel all the time

It's an interesting issue with great eds. My favorite of now is Daria's.
Thanks for the pics, Mchunu.

Testino ed look so fresh and say garbage is a stupid critic

everyone's entitled to their own opinion. :p

I wouldn't say it's garbage but i definitely wouldn't say it's fresh either because there have been dozens of editorials like this in US Vogue; not to mention, many others that have been better. :D When you say "fresh", what exactly do you mean testinofan? I guess it would all depend on how you are using the term. When i think of something fresh, i think of pure, refreshing (based on how it makes you fee-which i think is how you're using it) and/or innovative.

But to each his own. :flower:

Thanks for the scans Mchunu! The editorials are looking AMAZING. I love the diversity of the cast and the different themes and sets that each editorial has to offer. Each one is all different in its' own sense. I admire Anna's audacity to use such a good cast! I love it! I think she should continue with this route. This is seriously a good issue. Way better than others. Could you please scan Straight From th Hip?

Thanks for all the scans! I love Daria's ed, the styling is amazing! It seems this issue is a satisfied one for me.

I have not yet seen everything in full cause I want to be surprised when I get my copy but It's safe to say that this is one of US VOGUE's best issues ^_^
