oh my Midnight in the Garden of Good is terrible. not that i expect to love every US Vogue ed, i obviously don't, but there's always a certain quality in the composition of the images, and that ed is just a mess, the styling is ugly and UGH it's too green! looks a lot like something i'd expect to see in Vogue Brazil.

Kim in US Vogue? Way to hop on the bandwagon after everybody else, Anna... Anyway I love Kim and I'm thrilled for her but I don't like this...
As for the Karlie overdose, I'm not complaining, I'll take that over one single Trentini picture anyday! I only wish Jourdan would be part of the casting, she always looks so impeccable for Vogue US!

It's hard to believe Karlie could ever turn out as bad as Kim there. Make no mistake, I think Kim is beautiful and Karlie is not my favourite model. But...Karlie has a presence that can't be destroyed so easily, whereas Kim is very weak in her emotional output, in fact she has a look of suffering plastered on her face. It might appeal to some but it has put me off Kim since around 2005.

As far as photography and styling, this is probably inspired by Newton, but of course making the mistake that he would never use anyone who didn't have an ounce of dominatrix in them. She looks like her husband has forced her to do gardening at night....hardly the kind of go-getter stuff that people able to afford those clothes are made of.

Nothing that special about this issue...Testino overload . Anyway the last ed is pretty, Karlie looks good with this hair but Lord knows it's a boring set-up.

What I don't get about the cover (Which is not nice) is the fact they put Marion, Penelope and Nicole in great dresses and put Kate totally out of the loop by letting her wear that.

And I for once like the ed. Not the fact it is at night. Actually just because it's Kim and she finally has print work in an renowed magazine. She deserves it.

Everything & the Farm is very nice. I like just about every shot, Karlie looks great. I love the shot with the pumpkin, the lighting is superb.

ugh, even Testino's ed is bad. And I blame the styling... Karlie looks older, in a bad way.
Kim's is also a fiasco, even though it's good to see her in Vogue US.

Knowing that if we don't have Karlie, we'll have Trentini is not a good feeling

Vogue's favorite artists (and you know who they are already - Peyton, Koons, Vezzoli - et al.) create art about nature. Interesting works I must say and the Liebovitz picture is very pure - almost makes up for the horrific cover. Almost.
