US Vogue November 2009 : Marion, Penelope, Nicole and Kate by Annie Leibovitz

Thanks, flyme2themoon, for Karen's ed. I love it! It really is Karen at her best.

I wish Karen's ed was longer because I really like it.

Thanks for Karen's ed, flyme2themoon.
I also wish it was longer than that, at least 8 pages..

And, I agree, as much as I love Karlie Kloss, too much is definitely not a good way. Readers want something different and although the editorials are different but the model is the same. There are so many other models out there, I can't understand why US Vogue just want to stick to the same model.

Ah Electra... soooo beautiful.... Penelope + Sophie = LOVE! ... Angela as always superb... she should be called SuperbModel...

Oh, Karlie's shot by Walker is actually very cute
I also loved Karen's ed  It's very Elgort-esque, isn't it?

Wow actually this cover is so commented on the whole internet and almost the whole reports in general are so negative so far by now...haha...That`s really bad!

But you guys, come on! She just started with Vogue. I mean do you remember the Christy Turlington overload? Carolyn Murphy? Shalom and Amber?! I'm pretty sure they were shown nonstop for a solid year each, if not longer. Poor Karlie! Give her a break! ><

I don't remember that because I've never got to see that but I consider those models way more beautiful than Karlie, I believe they were even more beautiful when they were around Karlie's age though. Someone made a good point about the fact that people start getting tired of seeing her all the time and it's true, she's getting too overrated and that's not good. The fact is that if Karlie was so stunning, a true beauty and was great in print, I wouldn't mind seeing her all the time, but sadly that doesn't happen. So I don't get this load of work that she's getting and it seems a lot of people doesn't get either. Well I'm already prepared for seeing Karlie again for the next issue of US Vogue.

Karen's editorial is gorgeous and the colors are really pretty, too bad that it's too short.

Nostalgia: The Glamour Geek - Hedy Lamarr

Scanned by flyme2themoon

Thanks to flyme for this. It's a surprisingly negative article to be about someone so rare as Hedy Lamarr - a genius and a beauty icon in one. I would like to understand where her negative assessment comes from, I can't see any references to that...

I LOVE the "Playing The Field" ed. So beautiful...the colors!

I still haven't decided if I'm going to buy this issue. On the one hand I really like some of the eds and three actresses that I love are on the cover but.. well, the cover is just so AWFUL I don't know if I can justify buying it. haha

I love both 'Salad Days' and 'Playing The Field'...lovely organic eds to suit this time of year...might get this issue actually there's a nice variety of imagery despite the horrendous cover

This is exactly how I feel about a lot of the models Anna overuses. I can stare at a beautiful painting forever but a bland boring one? No one wants to see it over and over. I'm so so tired of these plain models being elevated to greatness. A true model should be breathtaking and memorable in some way.

i am a little upset that daria was not featured in the fashion's night out article!

^Did she participate in NYC during Fashion's Night Out.
