Really! I adored the cover, but I suppose it's no surprise to imagine most of America isn't as much in love with the themes of Sofia Coppola as fashion folk are. I loved the historical aesthetic of the cover, the 'tapestry overload' of the textiles matched by a simple colour scheme.

I remember the cover well from when I wasn't into fashion (maybe 10% of now ). I quite liked it, but the content sucked for a Sept issue, only Natalia's editorial (in my home of Vienna ) and Coco's were decent.

I can't get over how beautiful this issue was, for one that Marie Antoinette inspired shoot is breathtaking. The Enninful edit is GORG! and oh Coco looks stunning! I wish I owned this, i'd buy it RIGHT now if somebody offered it.

I thought this was one of the best Vogue US issues Anna has produced. Annie Leibovitz + Kirsten Dunst + Sofia Coppola - what more can one ask for?!

It was also one of the few times Vogue ventured into the 'artistic realm'. The photography was beautiful.

^ Xavier, you can just go on e-Bay, they sell tonsssss of US Vogue backissues there, althoguh the September issues are quite expensive

i have looked everywhere for the picture of kirsten in the foil dior dress and i finally found it i think it was a good cover but us vogue is always full of stupid articles , the only articles i want to read are about designers and people in the industry not about what pill to take for instance .
vogue should be fashion , fashion , fashion and more fashion , and for that reason i said above is the reason i no longer buy american vogue , im now on the paris vogue bandwagon and its rather cosy here Lol

This is, and probably always will be one of my favourite issues of Vogue. It's just beautiful, and it went pefectly with the movie. Loved it. I still take it out and look at it now!

In my opinion, Anna hasn't produced a September issue as breathtakingly gorgeous as this one. Everything about this issue was just amazing! I love it and I went on eBay last year and bought three more copies just because I want it all to myself!
