US Vogue September 2010 : Halle Berry by Mario Testino

$58? OMG. Where? In Canada?

Yep, It makes NO sense. The other issues are either $28 or $38. It's really the most ridiculously priced foriegn magazine we get here. UK, Paris, Spain, India, and Australian Vogues are like all around $10 (more or less), Russian Vogue is $15 (which is ok) and then the next expensive is Vogue Nippon at like $21.

I skimmed through it at the store yesterday but I couldn't find the feature on Coco's wedding. Is it even there?

Good question!
I thought there was suppose to be something in this issue on her wedding and Lara Stone's.

Ugh. I hope VI is under €10. I'll pay €8 at the most. Usually US Vogue is about €6 or €7. No more.
In Ireland the August issue of VI was €10.50 so I think the Sept one will be alot more.

It's definitely posted in Coco's thread and I think Lara's too, I think it was just posted in the last few hours. I am too lazy to do a search for it but when their threads come up in my subscription and if no one else has done it, I'll bring it over here.

Does Wintour mention anything in her editor's letter about her decision to put Halle Berry on the cover?

If only you could get to travel over the border for a big magazine binge, you could go to an Easons there and not have to pay the extra tax.

Believe me, it's tempting.^ If only all of Ireland had the same prices.:( I hate that you Northerners get everything cheaper.

My favorite ed is actually the Sims one. One of his best studio-shots for them, for sure, and some of Isabeli's best work. I also really like We Are The World  Sweater Girl... love Lara, Love M&M, but there's so much blank staring :ninja: The bench editorial had too much empty space , especially in the background. I like it when Meisel incorporates a lot of stuff (minus the latest LV ad). The Lindbergh/Karlie ed is nice... Karlie looks so young but she does a good modeling job of posing and expressions and it looks a lot like HP work... but without the great styling (I love it). Halle does not look good with that bob, it's so awkward and blunt.
Don't get me wrong, it was a great issue, but there's a lot more to go, and lately it seems they're on the right path :D
