V Magazine #85 Fall 2013 : Lady Gaga by Inez and Vinoodh

I just ADORE the 2nd cover! I've never been a big lady gaga fan but she's grown on me. I'm still not down with 90% of her antics but for the few moments she tones it down she's often great. It never lasts long though as this shoot proves; I mean how many times is she going to get naked for no apparent reason.

She's giving me Raquel Zimmermann in the pink Armani look. It took me days to figure out who she was reminding me of on that cover and it's Raquel.

She's hardly a conventional beauty but she has never looked more stunning then she does there. That makeup should be permanently tattooed onto her face.

Does anyone know who styled each cover? While I'm not the biggest Gaga fan, I think the styling and general idea of each cover is genius. Inez & Vinoodh are fantastic photographers and I'm just blown away with each cover.

I get the p*rn vibe, but she looks so angelic and ethereal, that Cicciolina is the last person I would guess as the inspiration ... and that's just so right.

She looks so weird with those teeth. She reminds me more of Faye Dunaway.

I remember a few years ago I managed to get my hands on a copy of V and I was so excited to finally have it.
But then I look at the content of current issues and I just cannot be bothered.

Those teeth are freaking me the f**k out. Not even close to being realistic.

way too much photoshop on catherine

and miranda's is even worse

Don't care for anything in this issue except for Miranda Kerr's editorial. That's probably the first editorial with her that I really enjoy. Probably because she's something like a caricature to me anyway and she plays that p*rn starlet part here so well; it's cute and tacky and sl*tty and she looks really good with that styling. I love it.

V magazine's September issue hits stands tomorrow, and we already know that the magazine will include a shot of Miranda Kerr posing with an exposed nipple as she channels adult film star Ciccionlina. But to further up the top-model ante, Joan Smalls will also get her own spread in which, we can exclusively share here, she takes on the persona of Tina Turner. Take a first look at the editorial shot by Tom Munro, which was styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele (she's making the rounds!). Did Smalls, sporting a funky bleached cut and white-and-gold outfits, succeed in capturing Tina Turner's electrifying presence?

As much as I love myself a fantastic Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele styled editorial, those pictures by Tom Munro have failed to capture Tina Turner's persona for me. The hair looks a little like Tina's during the late 90's, and Joan's energy is almost close to Tina's.. but the rest has fallen flat. Tina's name should of been left out and then I doubt I would of had a problem. The styling is rather fabulous, though - classic Carlyne.

Catherine McNeil looks nothing like Lauren Hutton either. They've totally missed the mark with these stories. Anja Rubik for Vogue Spain produced a far more superior set of pictures which emulated Lauren Hutton more. I agree with mikel, I get a Faye Dunnaway vibe from these images (which I happen to actually like).

Can anyone tell me what Linda Evangelista has inside this particular issue, please?
