Lee was such an handsome man...
I believe she choose people who were inspirations and supporters to her. She was one of the first celebrity to wear Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent, Karl has always been supportive of her.
I believe, we will have Carine, Tom and Donatella...maybe Marc Jacobs.

I get Lee on the cover. His spring 2010 will always be associate with Gaga...But I.Blow?? She died in 2007, a long time before Gaga became Gaga. I don't get it.

Or maybe she was inspired by her life...


It says a lot about V that their best issue in a long time is guest-edited by a singer...

I thought that was Lara Stone so I screamed for a moment.. But oh it was Daphne.

But I must say, the covers look good BUT I hate how DISTANT the Hedi & Karl covers look from all the covers that are popping out. It feels like it came from a different vision considering it was guest edited by Gaga. It just feels so disconnected. When you have multiple covers, make sure they all connect and relate with each other. The last 5 covers are an ode to McQueen and the first 2 just seems out of place. Ever heard of a theme, girl?

But I have to wait and see though. But so far, the concept is a mess. Maybe we'll see Gaga in Archive Chanel, a Chanel muse, and Gaga with a Chanel muse. Who knows.

Say what you want about Gaga and her relevance (which, after the year she's had both critically and commercially, shouldn't be a question) but if NOTHING else, she knows how to work in front of a camera and she's very much at home wearing clothes that would overpower most other celebrities, let alone celebrities of her relatively diminutive size.

I love the first three covers in particular. Karl is Karl and he may as well have marble busts of his likeness erected all over the world, so perfect is his signature portrait expression. Hedi's -- pretentious or not -- is actually just a very beautiful picture. Love the peach-y color of the V against the black and white. Gaga's solo cover is equally striking and simple. Had it also been in that dark black and white it would've been flawless.
