There can be too much of a good thing.
The only negative of Gaga–who is talented and at least IMO deserving of her great success–is that she can run something into the ground. This is an example of that.
First few covers - oh wow these are great!
Next few covers - ok, this is kind of cool
The covers after that - I mean I guess, sure, fine, whatever.
This cover - *closes laptop, walks away from computer*
The guest editor of V99 wrote in her editor's letter:
“Since we first met, Taylor’s been drawing and painting all over me. Years ago, when we were secretly living in San Diego and crashing on the floor of a beach shack, we never wore shoes. He told me he wanted to make love to me on a canvas.”
“We made love on the canvas on a Sunday in Chicago. We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people’s hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence. We made love amidst violence.”
“During tumultuous times, we hope everyone in the world will see this and be reminded to love each other wildly, generously, totally, colorfully, without fear and with compassionate hearts. We made a galaxy of endless colors with only brief, black holes of emptiness that are then filled by each other.”
Well well well... that didn’t last long, did it?
The first 3 covers were great and would have created a strong impact. Then they/ she had to pile on the unnecessary, ugly, amateur mess. These people need to learn and exercise restraint, and a skill called editing— if one’s to be an… editor.
I've lost interest.
her sort of diary entry explaining that mirror pic cover makes it even worse. let me repeat my LOL
There's also some nonsense on adult fingerpainting involved

one of the most hillarious things i read in Gaga threads is people posting that she is irrelevant. Ru in 2016?
V magazine still treating her like its 2010, however, says a lot of their cluelessness.
