Valentino S/S 2014 Paris

Glad they grew up a bit this season. The added edge this season is going to open up a much wider target market for them, but will retain their loyal fans. This is brilliant.

I echo everyone's sentiments. HC F/W 2013 was bloody gorgeous and this is nearly as good. Love the infusion of Eastern European and African influences, as well as the medieval touches that the accessories, particularly those golden necklaces lend. Plus the leopard print added a bit of much needed cheek into the mix.

Lovely!

I love most of the prints, but I can't the image of those absolutely HORRENDOUS jeans out of my head...

I'm a huge fan of what these two are doing at Valentino, but I don't like this as much as I've liked their last few collections. There are a few looks that I love but I'm indifferent to most of it.

I admire the intricacy, but the collection just doesnt do it for me. For some reason I see this collection very popular with socialites.

I wish this collection wasn't so big, it's a little repetitive but mostly because there are 3 or 4 versions of each look. A 45-50 look edit wouldn't hurt. Overall it's a great continuation of couture and the colors are quite refreshing to see at Valentino.

It has such sense of travel to me, I liked a lot of a little heavy but the Valentino women really doesn't care.

Dolce & Gabbana must be touching themselves looking at this collection...I don´t like it at all.

When I was sitting behind my laptop waiting for the show to begin this was definitely not what I was expecting. My jaw dropped. Loved everything about it.

Have to admit that I was quite surprised by Valentino - in he good sense. That said, for spring though some outfits of the show seem a little bit too "costume-like"... to my personal taste.
