Vanessa Traina

^Word, and for an ex ballerina her posture is TERRIBLE, which
makes me dislike much of what she wears.

True definition of elegance ! Absolutely fantastic. The hair, the shoes, the dress

Thanks for all the pics guys :flower:

The Chanel dress looks even better with her coat on. So freaking chic.
Amazing to see how she's become the perfect modern lady. Her style is abolutely flawless. Besides, she's right when she said her husband was her best accessory, they make the perfect couple : elegant, modern and cool.

The outfit is amazing. Very modern and structured unfortunately the sandals ruin it.

the balenciaga shoes make the chanel dress a bit more modern...
personally i love the combo...

she has two pairs of those mules?! straight to the trash...

Getting Ready for a Night Out with Vanessa Traina Snow
by Chioma Nnadi

“I’ve seen marble samples from the store, and pieces of the process, but I haven’t see the finished product just yet,” said stylist Vanessa Traina Snow just hours before the opening of Balenciaga’s new boutique in SoHo. The consultant/stylist had just come back from a trip to Paris a few days prior, and had a look by the French house lined up for the occasion. Although she’s always nothing short of polished, there’s a distinctive sense of ease about her style. “I’m actually kind of low maintenance,” she said. “When it comes to getting ready, I can be out the door in five to seven minutes.” She called on the help of makeup artist Daniel Martin for the night’s festivities, admittedly, though, this didn’t bump up preparation time by much: Martin has her fresh, barely there look down to a science, and it took him just fifteen minutes to make up her face for her wedding last year. Here, Snow shares a photo diary of her night.

Daniel Martin has been Traina Snow’s makeup artist since she was 20 years old and has made a relaxing facial massage a part of the ritual of getting dressed up—alongside a comforting hot cup of tea.

In the winter, Martin likes to prepare her no-makeup makeup with a heavier moisturizer like Crème de la Mer and Lift Lumière Smoothing and Rejuvenating Eye Contour Concealer by Chanel.

“Daniel finally got me wearing mascara about a year ago,” she says, “although I never apply it to the bottom lid.” Martin uses MAC’s Hot and Naughty lash mascara to separate her long lashes, adding a minimal coat without clogging.

“I’m not the type to try on multiple outfits before I go out,” she says. “I like to already have something in mind beforehand, although I usually only decide what I’m going to wear about an hour before an event.”

“I go through phases with jewelry where I might wear a few pieces or nothing at all,” she says. “The good thing about these Balenciaga bracelets is that you can wear them for night or day.”

“I prefer to wear pants for evening on a freezing night like this, and the waistline on these is really flattering with a hint of midriff,” she says. “There is also this ease to the look, where you feel like you could just as well be wearing baggy comfy pants and a tee".

“These heels are Balenciaga runway from spring, I prefer heels over flats for most occasions,” she says. “Some people may think them uncomfortable, but for me, it would be odd to get dressed and throw on a flat".

“After the collection has been made, I always keep a few pieces in my mind that I want to wear and this one was on my list,” she says in her finished Balenciaga look.”You can always tell when someone is at ease with what they’re wearing, and that lends an essential attitude to how you carry yourself".
