Personally, I like this issue. I think all of the shots were well done.

kristen stewart looks horrific on the cover, she's normally stunning. I don't see how blake lively even deserves to be on there, she is a one role actress and not a good one at that. Leighton is 10x more stunning. As for the other people, i've not heard of 90% of them and I watch a lot of movies.

Over half of these "actors" got where they were because of their family connections, not because of their acting
I don't understand the obsession over Blake Lively at all - she can't act for s**t, and she's always put on the covers she doesn't deserve. What about giving Leighton a cover?... She can actually act and doesn't rely on her hair for acting roles...

And the interviews! Wow can they be any more vapid? All they ask is their favourite designers and the number of shoes they have. Groundbreaking!

Oh god, I agree with all of this.

About the cover, why is what's-her-face there? Why do Kristin and Amanda look so bizarre? And why does Emma Roberts always look like she's in her mid-twenties?

She can't act. She can't even cry. Everyone like sLeighton better.

She only got this cover because she's in the follow up to Sisterhood...but I agree everyone seems to agree that when it comes to acting on Gossip Girl: Leighton & Ed >>>>>> everyone else.

^^She is painfully bad in GG sometimes, but i think she was alright in Sisterhood......however the girl is not photogenic and can rarely take a good picture, she looks much better in motion.So ya i dont get why they are giving her all these covers either.

i barely know who Kirsten Stewart is but.....

on the cover i think Emma Roberts looks the most elegant, Blake Lively looks tragically horsefaced (her seventeen cover is even worse), Kirsten Stewart looks..all kinds of wierd (as perfectly described by KhaoticKharma) and Amanda looks OK..

"hollywood's freshest, youngest, hottest faces...in their underwear!" screams this cover unsubtly. i love it.

i literally have never heard of any of these people, although i believe i have heard blake lively's name before. apparently i read too many books. it's hard for me to throw my 2 cents in about who looks prettiest or most elegant or whatever because the photographer and makeup artists did a good job, basically. they all basically look gorgeous, much more gorgeous than i'm sure to varying degrees any of them would like at 8 in the morning, pre-makeup/wardrobe/photoshop.
although i can say, however, that i think i'd kill for the dress that "Amanda Seyfried" is wearing in the second pic of post #2. who designed it?

They could have edited the interview to make the actors sound a little bit more eloquent and easier to read.

its so ridiculous- most of those actresses have obviously been told the right things to say, the "cool" labels to name drop...

it is ridiculous when some of the more "try hard" ones gush on about having a million shoes/loving the latest high end designer/ purport to be "environmental"

but i like how some of the responses turn against the questions

- a little cheeky but it shows that the more sensible/down-to-earth/less PR obsessed; recognise how vapid the questions are..

eg.

amanda seyfried : Jimmy Choo or Christian Louboutin? “Prada. I don’t have any, but they make a woman’s leg look fantastic.”

kirsten stewart: Favorite designer? “Oh, I don’t know*. Anything that’s beat up. I kind of like to look like a hobo.” <--- ha! take that 15 year old fashionistas!

CHRISTOPHER MINTZ-PLASSE: Last book you read? “You’re going to hate me for this, but I have not read a book in many years. <-- not my ideal boyfriend, but hey he's honest!

Ed Westwick: Eli Manning or Tom Brady? “Who?” <--- non sucking up, love it!

Leighton Meester: BlackBerry or iPhone? “Why do you assume I don’t have a Nokia pay-and-go phone? No, I have a BlackBerry.” <--- so true, there isn't only 2 phones in the world!

i think picking through the more vapid responses have given me newfound respect for those actors/actresses that don't pander to the PR and just tell it like it is..

She's not that bad looking, but as I've said 100000 times, the girl doesn't know how to pose and use her mouth.
