Lila is basically a young, female Jefferson Hack and I don’t think he ever tried modeling for a reason. It’s not an insult to say ‘you’re not a model’ but it seems to be that way in the era of social media, where connections, fame or financial stability are never as important as acquiring the ultimate prize of validation in a world where everyone can be pretty with a filter: high fashion modeling.
So true, they want to be models instead of models... It's just as if I claimed to be a professional sportswoman or a talented singer, it's basically and physically impossible. And it hurts high fashion modeling when random people are labeled (by themselves or, worse, magazines or brands) "models" while they have zero skills. Modeling is about having a unique face but not only, they are skilled artists, performers, they have to express something and embody characters. It's not a matter of what's your pedigree (daughter of etc.), of how many followers or of what your "community" is.
