I love scarves, and these are so cute, specially the burberry ones.
Julia has been wearing that scarve during all fashion weeks! She must love it.

The cute scarves Julia Stegner wears are very cheap here (the exact same for like 4.99$ canadian, which is about 4 bucks in the US).

They come in every single color (tan, yellow, white, grey, purple, blue, black, navy blue, green.....).

I am actually buying one in grey next week.

In Denmark that last type of scarf you posted Kimkhuu is called a palestinian scarf..and often worn as a political statement of support for the palestinians.

^ Thanks for pointing that out Hanne, I've seen a lot of those before in videos and in real life but never realised their true meaning. :flower:

Yes, a lot of teenagers wear that palestinian scarves here in Spain.

And Julia's scarves were very popular here one year ago, they are so cheap too, about 3 euros. Every girl in my school was wearing one, and they had it in diferent colours.

i have that 'palestinian' scarf...i got it on st mark's place from a street vendor in the 80's...bands like the clash used to wear it in videos and such so it became a trend in the alternative music scene...i also have a couple of those fringed scarves...some from the same place as the above and some purchased recently super cheap at indian or tibetan shops...

another carry-over from the 80's...^_^

that one mary kate is wearing is interesting...haven't seen one like that before...
cute thread kimkhuu...thx...:flower:

omg i love scarves! whether i have any 'vintage looking' one's i'm not sure, i know a couple of people who have the palestinian scarves, and some who just wear actual flags as scarves for political reasons which i thought was quite cool, i've not seen any palestinian scarves in the shops tho...

Yep. The clerk at my favorite fabric shop was trying to get me to buy one (a beautiful red-orange-ombre chenille affair) for $12. I wish I had, now!
