School of Visual Arts

Has anyone attended the School of Visual Arts (http://www.schoolofvisualarts.edu/) in New York City? Or if you know someone else who goes/has gone there, have you heard from them whether they like it?

I actually got accepted there as a illustration major in fall '03 but I had to transfer to another school during the first semester because it was to expensive for my parents. It is a great school; I really loved it.

Glad to hear you loved SVA! But I'm also really sorry to hear you weren't able to continue at SVA. I know how that is though, after this summer, if I want to go to SVA further, it'll definitly have to be on a scholarship, otherwise my parents won't be able to afford to send me there.

I went to SVA. I'm not sure of your program (BFA Photography here), but all I can say is great things about my time there. It really is a great school in the best location for the arts.

I just wonder, I'm going to study photography in NYC, at least I want to, but I'm very unsure which school to apply to, I've heard very good things about SVA school of visual arts, is it? Since the school is very expensive, do you know if they are nice about giving away scholarships? Please answer I'm so desperate!
