Karlie was shot in front of the graffiti wall on Bondi Beach and the mural behind her was created by Anthony Lister, an Australian artist that utilises spray paint as a main medium. You may remember his previous work in their March 2014 issue: https://models.com/Work/vogue-australia-listers-lady
I like it already!! The art direction looks sleek and not too cluttered, there's a 'fashion' vibe flowing, and I love the colours. It's what I hope Vogue Paris would do on a regular basis.
Actually looks like a really good shot from there, reminds me of Karlie's old hf days and a lot better than some of the covers Vogue Australia has been producing recently. I don't like the use of red and blue font though, makes it look juvenile
