This is a very strong editorial issue which means I will probably buy it. Few things I would have changed but overall good September issue, not great, but good!
Lara's ed is disappointing. I'm not a fan of photographer's who depend on a model's beauty to get them through a shoot... some direction, some flattering shots would have been nice to see. He's a good photographer in other ways.
this has to be my fav sept issue so far, i love everything about Stellas edit, the photography, styling etc. and Laras is so dreamy, definitely looking foward to seeing more of McKinley in Vogue
I'm thrilled that I landed this issue for £1 via subscribing, because even for September, I don't think this warrants the £4.10. Harper's Bazaar has much more to offer. There's too many downsides to this one issue. The edits are a complete bore - even Midas Touch. Suvi's editorial is the one I admire most.
So all this all britain editorial was made for the Olympics. They were wearing the same clothes and photos on the trucks where the same.
It was quite big for them to get such a huge showcase.
Not that I didn't like it before but I have so much more appreciation for the Midas Touch editorial now after watching the Olympics closing ceremony. The designs are out of this world. Naomi worked it like a boss, queen of the catwalk. All of them who took part looked good though to be fair. Will be sure to treasure this issue.
