Even with the bad hair... the Karlie editorial is pure perfection...:heart::heart:

Always nice to see Karlie Kloss on the cover of Vogue since she's someone who delivers time and time again. Major kudos to the art director who made the Vogue masthead resemble graffiti too, think it looks great and complements the surroundings perfectly. Love it!

God. This haircut won't go away....the curly, Jerry-curl, floppy banged Mica mop.....it's so ugly. So tired of seeing everywhere on everyone.

LOL

I get the impression it’s the hairstyle that’s so fuzzily nostalgic to the designers and editors of their youth. It’s very Madonna’s Like A Virgn-era— and goes so well with all those faux-Metal concert tees that’s infesting everyone from Vetements, Fear Of God to SHOWStudio shop fodder these days.

I don’t mind the mop— since it’s just these supernaturally-statuesque girls that are sporting it and not the mere fastfood-fed bumpkins. It gives the whole context a totally amusing. hyperstylized faux-sheen like those faux-Metal tees… I mean, no way am I paying $500 USD for a designer Metal-tee when I get easily cop a real one for $20 at the local headshop, but seeing gorgeous women (and yes, I’m the only one here that thinks Mica is gorgeous) on the cover of a Vogue magazine with that 80s-mop is still kind of amusing— because they can get away with it. And Karlie does resemble Virgin-era Madonna in this edit.

And Vogue Australia is still doing their own thing with those sunny, outdoor shoots, maybe not as strongly as before and maybe they do resemble a more sportier VP, but having and sticking to a strong direction is something admirable these days in print… if nothing else. And there really is nothing else in a lot of cases with the majority of Vogues these days.

They couldn't tell the old man to pull up his Speedos? Who still wear Speedos anyway! This is not Spain or Italy.

I think everything (aside from Giorgio Armani type next to Karlie) worked for this beachy edit. Hard to imagine Australia should be heading into autumn sometime soon, the weather still looks so enviable. Love Karlie's presence, cannot help but wonder how much better it'd have been if Hans Feurer shot this.

There's also some good stuff going in 'Do you want me, baby', but it's all very VP and I'm fed up with VP as it is.

It's a beautiful cover, just wondering about the colour choices as the shoot was all about her frolicking on Bondi Beach, the sea, the sun, funtimes. Maybe the black dress could have been something more beachgirl, athletic, bright.
