Fashion without boundaries? A basic white vest top and black skirt? All the creativity must’ve been used up with Vogue China’s August 2024 cover shoot.
as Bulgari paid for this shoot anyway, why should they bother? :innocent:
the last image would be a perfect fit for the theme

It's not exciting, it's chic but it's not blowing us away by any means.
Now, knowing the editor-in-chief comes from GQ you can tell by looking at the covers and the editorial photos that ALL OF THIS could have been published in GQ China and you wouldn't tell the difference. It's not saying ''VOGUE''.

The two alternate covers could've been chosen as the main one.

I don't hate it... I just think it's a little bit basic.

Are these made under the new EIC? This is 2024 not 2014! Pls stop doing the same old things, shot the same old pics for the readers. Those are just a WASTE of prints.

The first one is a bit awkward. The other two are good, especially the second one. Having said that, everything seems a bit vanilla.

boring. tepid intro for the new EIC. seeing what marie claire china and elle china have achieved, it's difficult (and not) to accept this is the best vogue china could do for a studio shoot. like, really?

it's the september issue and y'all already tired? goodness. imma hold out hope the next three issues are better.

There was a sudden change of direction... it's kind of crazy, like a total 180-degree change

Well.... Rocco's title is Editorial Director while Margret was Editor in Chief

So the old Creative Director Matt Mcdonald is still there? Judging from this shoot, he can go actually...

From what I read, Rocco's GQ brand is doing extremely well and popular among younger audiences because they are like a high-end VICE more than a Conde Nast brand (at least articles and topics wise), and for that reason, it's more local and relatable among Millennials and Gen Z

Looks like a less interesting version of this
