I'm getting 'estate agent trying to sell that was ransacked during some revolution' vibes from this. Not a good look if you're going for a star president vibe. I mean, what's the story with the rose? And why should power women always be dressed in suits?

Anyway, just another fail for Vogue Czechoslovakia. Nothing new to see here.

Wow, I didn't recognise her at first, too much photoshop. I don't like the suit she is wearing, she is rarely seen in pants in real life so a nice dress would be more fitting for her in my opinion. The whole image looks very depressing, the peony she is holding looks rather odd. Are they trying to suggest that she is bringing better future for Slovakia with that open door? Good news is (or maybe not) that this is the only cover this month.

It is just way too somber and there are elements that don't go well together, even as a juxtaposition. Like what is that rose supposed to represent? Why the grim-looking room as the set? This is another case of Vogue Czech trying too hard to appear intellectual by providing so much subtext. Be as thought-provoking as you want, but the image has to resonate with the audience first.
