Vogue España August 2021 : Kendall Jenner by Micaiah Carter

The main editorial is such a snooze fest. So I'm afraid my expectations were fully met.

What a disaster of an issue....I think that everything is wrong. Having said that, I understand the difficulty of shooting editorials nowadays, with the ridiculously low budgets that magazine can afford. There are no resources and it's all very hard.
In this issue I feel like there 's just plain bad taste though, and money can't fix that.

Quite possibly the most dismal Jenner cover/ed yet? She doesnt have the range and is taken hostage by the wretched styling.

I would love to buying this one only for Signe. I wish she were on the cover.

I think I will start to buy Vogue and GQ Spain, but only the good issues. Every magazine costs around 1000 pesos, it's very expensive. Vogue Latin America seems to be over here (I hope not :'( , no print editions since June). Edita's cover will arrive here on this month. That one is worthy to buy.

Aside from Kendall, where she looks terrible, the cast is strong. Vera van Erp, Signe Veiteberg and Mariam Eya! Need more of all three.

Kendall's editorial is probably the most expensive shoot in this issue, and none of it actually went towards the production. With that being said, when I see her in print I simply cannot take the client seriously. We all know what their bottom line is.

Models who are great can transform into almost anything. I think of all the models who looked amazing in all those kooky Meisel-era bobs/wigs. The Stams etc, that made you believe they were these other-worldly characters. And then you look at this, and its just Kendall in a wig. Im not buying it…whatever it is that they are trying to sell.

That's because I keep screaming from the very start that this girl has 0 ZERO range: nothing. She just stands there thinking that her beauty will ''somehow'' do something special to the picture looool she's just so bland to start off with (some models are naturally charming and beautiful, Kendall is not lol) It's WORLDS APARTS from what Dan Beleiu did with the black model Mariam Eya: stunning !!!!!
