I like that all the names for the original content are wild cards. Yes, it can go south in a CR Fashion Book sort of way, or it can really turn out stunning.
But ugh, reprints. No thanks. She should keep the magazine as reprint-free as possible.

The best thing it's the cover (and cover story) i think...But for the previews it just looks like any other magazine (and not in a good way). Let's wait for the full images to see how good or bad it is.

Hmm ok, they can keep it. If France is about showing cows, rabbits, having some carrots as earrings and baguettes I don't want it.

I will say it again: where are the local talents? Don't want the clichés coming from the brits, the Americans. Why my dear country is always about stereotypes?

I had a bad feeling Carlijn and GKJ ... well my guts were right. The watch story straight up Les Inrockuptibles kind of editorials.

We just asked more inclusivity and less denim... not pedestrian.

I’d love to be proven absolutely wrong and see this Vogue France come out strongly creative, Benn. …Somehow though, I can’t see Edward allowing this to happen and outdo and upstage his British Vogue. Those at the top— and that’s exactly where he is now, will never allow anyone to outperform them— no matter how well intended they may want to appear (and Edward knows how to play the commoners in the current socio-political climate of SM like a maestro these days); it’s just human nature— and it’s as doubly conniving and ruthless when it comes to the fashion industry. Don’t let the faux veneer of “diversity & inclusivity” gimmick let down your guard that this is a kinder and gentler industry.

Why does this feel like it's so desperately trying to appease people who don't even really care about fashion to begin with?

Looking at an issue from 20 years ago vs now is so depressing... its so sad how conservative fashion magazines have become.
