This is a very, very different magazine now and I can't say that I appreciate it. The editorial with bread and the one with watches are very Vogue Ukraine, the one with the flowers is a Thai filler and Nakamura could fit into Farneti's Vogue Italia. It's giving a lot of things and the only thing it's not giving is France. Go figure...

Looks like I won't be buying after all, unless I get it for collectors sake. It doesn't speak to me or interest me on any level, I already miss Alt's predictability and simple approach to stereotypical parisian chic and glamour. I loved that so much, month after month I counted on it and she always delivered. This is not it, they can keep it.

Aya looks great, though.

@Zorka can u post the masthead and editors letters

Unfortunately, I don't have a digital edition of the magazine yet, once I get it I'll gladly post everything (when it comes to fashion content, of course), so people have a better understanding of what is really going on with this, not so long ago, ICONIC edition of the Vogue magazine!

It's early days yet, but I get the feeling that each time a new issue of any Vogue comes out, I'll be thinking "superb cover story... shame about the rest" and because most of the content will be reprinted, I'll have to pick the edition with the cover story I most want to purchase/keep, and just go with that one issue for the month.

I’d rather have a thinner magazine with just a few editorials in that are original, rather than 6 editorials, in which 2 or 3 are reprints. At least they’re good reprinted editorials in this issue I suppose. I dread to think what’s in Vogue Italia for November.

So, as it turns out Tianna's story is another reprint which appears in the new issue of British Vogue. With the inclusion of Poppy Kain we could've assumed as much... That brings the number of original editorials in this issue down to three, including the cover story. Sad, really.

My god this is truly depressing. It's kinda wild that they think only 3 original edits in one issue is acceptable, especially when they are all this forgettable.

And these 3 with the poor quality of vogue Russia, gosh this magazine is really in his worse days right now. Even cover story is super basic not to tell that I don’t find anything vogue cover- worthy into Aya: extended eyelashes into haute couture story in vogue paris? Am I dreaming? Or looking through some bimbo Instagram?
I thought that vogue paris will get worse but not this. Reprints in 2021 into the most fashionable of vogue editions? And who the f*ck told Edward that his pile of trash (I never purchased UK vogue under him, never, because the magazine is really weak but with lots of politics and buzz around it) is now the gold standard that every edition should stick to?
And from the social point of view: if Condé Nast tries to cut fees by globalizing all editions, where all these countless A-list stylists, photographer, creatives went? So they became unemployed? Did CN try to negotiate fees with their usual contributors, some of the earn like 50k for shooting, I guess they might cut their fees to stay with a job.
Sorry but this issue is a RIP manifesto of the magazine.

Well it was the best way to close the Vogue Paris era with the October issue and the exhibition. Now Vogue France seems to be the unplanned children of CN. At least VI have the Meisel archive the can use. But yes it doesn't seem like a good issue. But (and hope) it can be better.

Camellia Jordana would be a great cover girl too, less obvious and expected. But yes maybe she is lees famous than Aya.

And you cannot be the poster girl of inclusivity just for the sake of it and turn everything black or asian, etc. You need to search good solid talent, young or not. There are a lot of good talent in France and give the magazine a good level. I remember seeing David Sims on Bazaar pages in the 90's he was young but with a strong POV. Something that talents now lack because now all are busy focusing in doing politics or becoming a personality.

I think both Fran and Eugénie, were picked because, they were already part of CN so they can avoid the process to hire someone from outside, they are malleable have good chemistry with the team and they can be a good manager. And both have this good girl personality. But that's it. Even that Eugenie was hired by Alt it was for a different position. But like i said let's hope she can nurture herself and evolve fast and learn and don't get confused by the praise she receive from social media.

I'm gonna wait until the march issue to see what's going on. So far no good.

Awful. But I'm not suprised. At least Alt used to work with stronger and talented models. Tianna is pretty but not strong enough for vogue paris(france). The rest are boring too

Never did I imagine Vogue Paris, (I meant Vogue France, sorry) would be using some reprints for their editorials.
