Vogue Netherlands March 2019 : Lara Stone by Matteo Montanari

I was excited to open this thread but I quickly disillusioned. This big and pink "a new day" font is atrocious. I'm sure Lara would have looked better without this hand pose. This was not necessary and it makes the cover look busy while it's supposed to be simple.
 
The cover is too crowded. There is too much text
 
My problem here is more with the design and overall direction than anything else really. I don't think she looks that terrible on the cover and I actually find her extremely beautiful in the first two pictures of the post.
I'm always glad to see Lara in a non-gratuitous way, be it in the "kids' fashion" like here or all glammed up. I think she deserves more than being used as the "sexy pin-up" for trash edits. Her voluptuous all natural body speaks volumes to the modern woman and I wish she cashed more on that strong independent no-f****-given persona. If only they could get her some better photographers...
