Personally, I "got" I know that being literal is not considered cool and all, but if you are going to have the words American Beauty screaming on the cover then you should have a more obvious reference than maybe / kinda-sorta the model's hairstyle

I can see what htey were doing by putting an overly tanned ultra blonde model on the cover, because to some people that is what an American girl is. She's photographed perhaps as some sort of disco queen from the 70s, which would explain her hairstyle.

But really, is it a big deal what Vogue Nippon writes on their covers? They always have the dumbest stuff on there. Like July was "Love My Hair," nobody was arguing whether Alessandra really lovers her hair or not.

Naturally I'm thrilled Natasha has an edit in this issue. Although from the candids, I was expecting the colours to be rich.
Rianne's looks full of energy. This issue is looking promising so far. Good start to the September issues.

Heidi's editorial looks great. I wish Rianne's were in colour and Natasha's ed is not impressive at all. Waiting for HQs to be able to make a better judgment.

Rianne's ed by Daniel Jackson looks lovely. Again his work reminds me a lot of Meisel, but I like it nonetheless.
