Pretty boring issue in my opinion. Nothing stands out to me at all besides Sasha's tongue. David Sims's editorial is way too similar to everything he has done for Vogue Paris (same styling, same dirty gritty look). Nothing new or exciting.

Yeah this issue has nothing groundbreaking or particularly amazing, but honestly from April to July I really like seeing the lightness of fashion in these magazines. Not every magazine has to be filled from front to back with editorials featuring overly dramatic couture filled editorials. Why do people always want fashion to be so heavy ALL THE TIME?

I can't wait for this, but I haven't even gotten the March issue yet.

I think Giselle's ed is my least favorite of the whole issue.

Snejana's ed is my favorite, duh. But both Sasha's and Isabelli's eds are really great too. Sasha has literally never looked better than she does in that last shot.

No one said about anything needing to be dramatic or heavy. Sims's editorial is dramatic AND heavy, but it's boring to me. The magazine can be light and refreshing, yet striking and exciting. This issue is none of those things.

Isabeli's editorial is out of control! The best editorial of this year, for sure!
I don't like Montres, I mean Snejana is certainly insanely beautiful but it looks obvious, boring...

nothing groundbreaking indeed, but better than i expected. it's "light", if that makes sense. gisele's ed is typical emmanuelle but it's quite nice. i really like the colours and the textures (as tigerrouge ponted out). wanted is not bad too, and sasha's shots are lovely. l'heure pure is very nice. i love how the rings complement the watches, while keeping it simple. coup d'éclat has a great model, and i generally like all-white styling, but that's a bit mediocre. i'm very curious to see bruce weber's ed.
(...well, maybe my expectations were just really low.)

Is it me or Gisele, Anja & Sasha´s editorials are very 90´s... (mostly early, maybe late 80´s carrying into the early 90´s is the proper concept)?

See, I don't think that the magazine always has to be particularly exciting though. Sometimes simple and pretty is refreshing, at least for me.

Definitely a hit and miss affair this month. A so-so cover followed by a very strong editorial with Gisele. Then David Sims doing his grimy look editorial once again, but this time with astonishing effect and Isabeli's best edit. in a long time. Always a fab of Malgosia, but it's all a bit 'so-what', Sasha looking lovely and Snejana's beautiful face working wonderfully in a less than exciting scenario. Really looking forward to seeing Anja's pics and all in all looks like a decent edition.

If a magazine isn't the least exciting, why would I be spending any money on it? I want to get my moneys worth. Likewise, I wouldn't be purchasing any clothing if they aren't particularly exciting. Simple can be exciting. Simple can be boring. This issue is boring. Just my opinion.

I think exciting is being used in 2 different ways here. There's exciting as in groundbreaking. There's also exciting as in, it excites you. Opinions will differ on this. I personally find this to be quite exciting because although the themes are simple, they are expressed well and artistically satisfying.

I'm feeling a slight Numero vibe, but that might be just me.

Wanted is stunning. That is truly the type of editorial that David Sims should be shooting all the time, instead of his ultra-repetitive studio shoots for US Vogue.
