Karlie has had a brilliant HF career, but its been a minute since Kloss felt like a proper model. She's slowly morphing into TV spokesperson territory.

This cover would have been perfect for US Vogue if she had the hair slick wet look (summery) with a non white background.

and neither does the photographer: I have said it to EVERY Vogue cover he has done so far: I have a lot of respect and admiration of Russel James and his sexy bathing suits / beachy supermodels photos but his does not know how to photograph high fashion covers for Vogue. But yeah here the styling, the awful hair and the photography are all garbage. NEXT!

"Into the sun" shot in the studio with the most boring white background.

What is baffling to me is that Vogue Thailand isn't a bad edition. The styling doesn't work and Russell James can just shoot VS and SI covers. They have many local talented photographers or use up and coming one who would try to experiment a bit or add some interesting aspect to the magazine. Karlie's HF model probably died with the old Taylor Swift. I really like her and what she is doing but she needs to turn it up in order to make it impactful every time she does covers.
