Same. Tilda is one of my favorite actresses and I can't stand Radiohead. The Radio Dept., on the other hand....



Anyways, I like the cover, it's certainly something that catches the eye, but I think it could have been alot better. I'm interested in knowing if there will be a different subscriber's cover or if subs/newsstand buyers will get the same one.

Omgosh, Tilda's ed is Phenomenal!!! The cover is the weakest image, but the ed is soo much more than just Fashion, she really brings forth the characters from within the shoot, even the shots from behind speak!! Love this story, I only wish it were some weird movie featuring her playing all these beings!!

Good to see Emma Summerton finally making her major US debut.

Edward E's London agency rep her, so it looks like he's bringing her along to W also.

The cover is spectacular in my opinion, but it is overshadowed by the mesmerizing editorial inside. Such tremendous work by Walker! McLellan's editorial also looks great and seems like it will be a feature on male models, which excites me.

I've never understood the hype surrounding Tilda, or Tim Walker for that matter.

I like her quite bit, but I think she's so overhyped to the point where it's almost nauseating. She's become the 'cool' person to stan for like some people have mentioned. And no matter what she does at this point it's like "OMG, so fierce" etc. But again, I do think she's great and a terrific actress.

The cover leaves me cold. I love some of the shots from the ed, especially the one where she's in red, but the cover is surprisingly bland.

The more I look at this the more I love it. Honestly, can any of you detractors think of another actress who could pull this off? Or who would even attempt to pull it off? I need this issue so badly.

What excites me most about this issue is the use of different photographers. And having Tilda front the cover is a perfect way to signal what I hope will be a permanant transition.

On the cover--if the accent color was red, not pink, it would be better. But that's a striking cover anyway.

i love all the previews posted so far, it's nice to see some variation in the magazine, from photographers and stylists.
and it's nice to see this year more than 3 editorials for august, which means september will have even more diversity and maybe bigger than last year.
i still miss the big 600 pages issues from last years.
