I got mine in the mail and didn't really care for Imogen's editorial.. it was trying to hard to be ethereal and just came off as confusing and immature to me (sorry I wanted to love it). Raquel's editorial is wonderful though and this is coming from someone who use to not be a fan!

^Gorgeous! Such a good issue of W, I can't wait to pick this up.

^ Oh me either! From cover to eds I love it so far. Imogen doesn't do much for me, this ed doesn't change my mind. Dorothea looks phenomenal though, she looks so intense and dare I say it...borderline sexy .

The whole story reminds of 'Pretty Baby' with Anabela and Snejana from 2007, I really love when McDean shoots these night time pieces .

Both editorials are very smart in their own right.
Raquel's ed has a great sense of light, movement and great poses against a stunning landscape. Kudos to Sorrenti.
McDean's ed. is dark, yet sparkly and very atmospheric and Dorothea & Imogen work well together to create a quite alien feeling of being lost in a dark world only punctuated by explosions of occasional light.
W really needed to be back on their game.
